End of Summer Soiree | Park Studios
If you're in this industry, you know that networking is an important part of your job description. I actually kinda love it! It gets me out of my house, making new friends, and (usually) eating delicious food.
I received an email from Alice Park, of Park Studios (www.parkstudios.co), back in August. She had received my contact info from a mutual friend, and she simply asked if I would come check out her new Buckhead studio and provide some feedback from my view of things. I said sure, and I'm so glad I did! I felt a connection to Alice right away; she is very professional, yet warm and inviting. I felt right at home. She described her vision for Park Studios, and how she would like to make it more than just an amazing photography studio. She wants to do events! She wants to invite people into her intimate space, create an environment for gatherings, and help people make new memories. I also love doing those things, so our partnership was a natural fit. And so.....the idea for our End of Summer Soiree was born!
This event in late September was a labor of love from the vendors involved (and we had a stellar team!). It was an evening filled with great conversations, laughter, yummy food & drinks, and some of the city's best vendors in our industry.
