Carlie + Jacob | Las Caletas, Mexico
Okay, yall. This wedding happened last September so I know we're late to the blog party. (I was hoping another blog would pick it up, so I didn't want to ruin the surprise by sharing all the photos first! But...alas...here we are...) We're BEYOND excited to share these amazing photos with you guys! They. are. MAGICAL. I mean...an intimate wedding on a private island in Mexico with 25 of your closest family and friends?! Sign us up! And we don't know about you guys, but all this sunshine and warmer temps in Atlanta is making us want to take a trip to somewhere beachy!
Carlie was referred to us by a friend (thanks, Lolly! We're so grateful for our referrals!) and like many of our clients, we had our initial consultation call and then we were off to the planning races. Since Carlie lives in Jesup and her wedding was in Mexico, we had a big task of managing the planning details from afar (very far). We worked with Carlie from start to finish by communicating with the venue contact, designing her decor and florals, and helping to make all of the other final decisions regarding timeline, menu, and overall flow of their big day. We had so much fun spending hours on the phone, texting Pinterest photos to each other all day, and just enjoying the process! And guys- we couldn't have been more happy with how the day turned out. It began with mimosas and massages on the beach, followed by a romantic ceremony with their toes in the sand. To top the night off, they shared their first dance in the dark surrounded by sparklers (swoon!) and took a private boat ride back to the main island for the after party.
Caitlin Ogden is the talented photographer behind these beautiful images. (She lives in Nashville and actually took her very first plane ride to get to Carlie's wedding in Mexico!!! True story! I couldn't believe it either.) I love how she really captured the beauty of the island and the beauty of the pure love that exists between Carlie & Jacob. Oh--- and their sweet son?! My heart is just melting! I know you guys will enjoy these shots as much as we do. :) Xx
