Jackie + Kyle | The Ritz-Carlton @ Reynolds Plantation, Lake Oconee
Ohhhh, Jackie. Jackie + Kyle. Where do we start?! (I’ll start with an “I love you guys” and add an “I miss you guys” plus a “Come visit me in Atl soon!”) Jackie contacted Organized Occasions over a year prior to her wedding date. We scheduled a consultation call, and we clicked right away. Jackie works for a DMC in Florida, so she knew exactly the type of aesthetic she wanted to showcase at her reception and she knew exactly how to bring it to life. I’d say she did an am-az-ing job! The linens and placemats from BBJ Linen coordinated effortlessly with the gold infinity chairs from Goodwin Events. With the Pavilion at The Ritz-Carlton, Reynolds Plantation as the reception venue and Lake Oconee providing the scenic backdrop, this wedding was nothing short of dreamy! The November wedding date brought the perfect Fall weather with blue skies and a nice crisp breeze in the air. The trees still had those pretty yellow leaves, which made the perfect Fall statement in their portraits.
Now, if you know me at all, you know I love all animals but especially our furry dog companions. And I love it even more when couples want to include them in their wedding day (because, I mean…are they even considered family if you don’t?). Including Jackie's two dogs was very important to her, and Amy Osaba created the cutest wreaths for them to wear. They were even included in the morning’s festivities while the girls got ready. So cute!
When guests arrived, they were escorted down to The Landing to witness their ceremony lakeside. Amy Osaba adorned the ceremony structure with breezy drapery and organic greenery. It was the perfect touch! Once the ceremony was complete, guests were directed up the hill to The Pavilion where they enjoyed cocktails + hors d’oeuvres on the patio before heading inside for dinner + dancing. They were treated to a spectacular plated dinner, and let me tell you—- the service provided by the staff at The Ritz Carlton is over the top. They don’t miss a beat, and the evening flowed so seamlessly. Of course their food was also amazing, and the cake which they make in-house? To die for!
After dinner, guests danced the night away to tunes provided by Emerald Empire Band. We always love working with them as they keep the dance floor packed all night long. Not sure if grandpa Joe is gonna make it out of his seat? Oh, yes he will if you have Emerald Empire Band. They are THAT good!
Jackie and Kyle were just FUN. Thats really the main word that comes to mind when I think of them. I didn’t even meet Kyle until wedding weekend, but he would have me laughing with just one look. Jackie’s dry sense of humor also matched mine, and being around them just brings a smile to your face. Their love is true, and we were so honored to be a part of such a special celebration for them.
